Release 1

The tabs that ship first.

This is the public product. Click a tab. Each block matches a screen in the program.

Project Structure

The home tab. Drawings, coverage, and defaults live here. New projects land on this page.

  • Add every DWG on the job. Click a drawing for path, polyline counts, and last sync.
  • Sync Current pulls the open Civil 3D drawing. Sync All reads listed files from disk.
  • Load NOAA Atlas 14 IDF and DDF from lat / lon. Type coordinates when CAD is closed.
  • Import Soils from Online uses USDA SSURGO after the first Sync stores Soils-BND.
  • Save writes Tc, overlays, defaults, rainfall, and cached rings into the .sdp.

Drainage Areas

Closed PRE and POST polylines become cards. Soil times cover sets CN. You map land use. The program does not guess TR-55 covers on a new project.

  • Assign / Unassign from the left palette. Double-click a card or polygon to edit.
  • Composite CN, C, area, percent impervious, and Tc on each card.
  • Compare DA Sizes for PRE vs POST totals.
  • Write to CAD Catchments creates Civil 3D catchments on C-HYDR-CTCH.
  • Export drainage areas toward Excel and HydroCAD (this path is still being finished).

Hydrographs

The node canvas is in Release 1. You place catchments, ponds, reaches, and outfalls. You link them. The Drainage Area Viewer sits on the right. Full storm Run, pond routing, and StormTech stay later.

  • Nodes and ALL / PRE / POST chips.
  • A DA is a catchment node. Rename the DA, rename the node.
  • Tabular view is display-only in this sale.
  • No Run, no Q vs time, no StormTech layout yet.

Ditches

A Manning swale calculator linked to assigned catchments. Reach Information holds left and right side slopes. The section sketch uses those wall angles.

  • Assign Ditch Drainage Areas on the left. Calc rows are yours, not CAD numbers.
  • Lining catalog. Capacity from the section you set.
  • Outlet Protection from Calculations on the top menu, or from a row that has Q, D, and V.
  • Print writes one PDF of the NCDOT-style chart.

Pipes

Single pipes, not a full network. Circular CIA plus Manning. The storm dropdown above I picks I2, I10, I25, and the rest.

  • Assign Pipe Drainage Areas. Known Q if you have it.
  • After Capacity: La, W, d50. View Graph. v under 2 fps skips outlet protection.
  • Warnings when flow or velocity sit off the chart.

  • Network chips. Structure names stay CAD-owned.
  • Assign Inlet Drainage Areas on the left.
  • Layout and assign are in this sale.
  • No Run, no HGL/EGL, no profile yet.

Calculation Report

A compiled book, not a screenshot dump. Contents keeps every section when you uncheck it. The page drops out of the PDF. The row stays in the list.

  • Rebuilds when you change order, Contents, or settings.
  • One vector PDF stored inside the .sdp.
  • Appendix titles for NOAA DDF, IDF, and HSG when you loaded those from online.
  • Print writes the same pages the viewer shows.
